Why a matched set is not the same as buying two things
Full-grain is dyed into the hide, not coated over it, so the finished tone follows the hide’s own density. Order a collar in March and a leash in September and they arrive close — and close, side by side on a dog, is what reads as mismatched. A set is cut from one batch. They start identical, and because they are the same leather they darken at the same rate rather than drifting apart.
What does a matching leather dog collar and leash set cost?
$140 for both. Bought separately the same two pieces are $159 — $60 for the collar and $99 for the leash. The $19 difference is roughly what the batch matching is worth, and it is the only discount on this page. If you only need one of the two, buy that one; the set is not here to make the single items look expensive.

Buying separately means choosing a collar, then a leash, then hoping the two shades agree. This is one choice: which colour, and what size neck. Everything else is already decided — same hide, same hardware, same construction, and a leash length that suits the collar it ships with.

Both are basket-weave: a strip of the same hide woven into the face of the strap, which breaks up the surface so light scratches do not read as a scuffed line.
How do you size a collar and leash set?
Only the collar is sized. Measure the neck just below the ears where the collar will sit, snug without compressing the coat, then check two fingers slide flat underneath. Order that measurement. The leash is one length whichever size you choose. Between two sizes, take the larger.

What this set is not
Everyday walking equipment, not restraint or training equipment. No flat collar is the right answer for a dog that lunges hard enough to pull you off balance — that needs a properly fitted harness and a trainer, whatever the collar is made of.

Can I mix two different colours?
Not within a set — matching from one batch is the whole reason it exists. For two different colours, buy the collar and leash as separate items.
Is the leash different from the one sold on its own?
No. Same leash, same length, same hide as the collar it ships with.
Will they still match in a year?
Closely. Both darken with handling, but the leash handle darkens fastest because that is where your hands are. The collar follows roughly a season behind, and on Natural that difference is visible — which most owners like.
What if the collar size is wrong?
Return the set within 30 days, unused with tags attached, and we issue return instructions by email. Measuring first avoids it in nearly every case.
