Description
A slim black jacket built on moto lines: a tall stand collar held by two snap tabs, a centre zip running under a second leather placket so the front reads as two overlapping panels, an angled zip pocket at the chest, zip pockets at the hip and quilted panels across the shoulders.
The front
The extra placket is what gives this jacket its weight across the chest. Instead of one layer of leather meeting a zip, there are two overlapping panels, which keeps the front flat rather than dimpling along the zip tape and stops wind coming through the teeth. It is also what lets the collar stand up properly when both snaps are closed.
The leather
Full-grain hide, smooth black finish. The grain layer is the densest part of the skin, which is why this surface scuffs rather than flakes and why the quilted shoulders and the flat panels age at slightly different rates — the raised stitching picks up a sheen first.
How it is cut
Slim. Close through the chest and arms with the hem at the belt, drafted for a t-shirt or a thin knit underneath rather than a jumper. If you want layering room, size up — this is one of the closer cuts on the site.
What to wear it with
Dark denim or black trousers, a plain tee, boots. The jacket has a lot of detail in the front, so plain is right underneath. Zipped to the top with the collar standing is a very different look from worn open — both work, but they are two different outfits.
Looking after it
Condition twice a year. Close the collar snaps when you hang it so the stand keeps its shape; left open for months it softens and stops standing. Wide hanger, no plastic.

Size chart
Measure your chest around the fullest part with the tape level. Jacket chest is the finished garment measurement and runs larger than your body, because the jacket has to close over you. Between two sizes, take the larger.

Questions about buying a leather jacket
Why do leather jackets have snap tabs on the collar?
To hold the collar closed at the throat, which is the gap wind gets through when a zip stops at the collarbone. On a stand collar like this one the snaps also keep it upright — undone, the stand folds over and the jacket reads completely differently.
Is a leather jacket like this suitable for riding a motorcycle?
No. This is a fashion jacket cut on moto lines, not protective equipment: it has no armour, no abrasion rating and no certification, and nothing about the styling changes that. For riding, buy gear that is tested and rated for it. We would rather tell you that than take the order.
Should you buy a leather jacket online or in a shop?
Online is fine if you measure first and the seller will talk to you about it. What goes wrong is ordering by your usual t-shirt size, because jacket chest measurements are finished-garment figures and vary hugely between makers. Measure your chest and your shoulder width, compare against the actual chart, and ask before you order rather than after.
How can you tell a well-made leather jacket?
Look at the inside, not the outside. Seams should be finished and even, the lining stitched in rather than glued, the zip tape sewn flat without ripples, and the hardware should feel cold and heavy rather than light. Then check the hide at the cuff edge — a real cut edge shows fibre, a laminate shows a plastic line.
What is the difference between slim fit and regular fit?
Slim is cut closer through the chest, waist and sleeve, with a higher armhole, and assumes a t-shirt underneath. Regular leaves room for a jumper and sits straighter down the body. A slim jacket one size up is not the same garment as a regular in your size — the proportions differ, not just the measurements.
How do you pack a leather jacket for travel?
Wear it, if you can. If it has to go in a bag, turn it inside out, fold the sleeves across the body and lay it flat on top of everything else rather than rolling or wedging it. Creases set in leather far more readily than in cloth, and the ones made under pressure for several days can take weeks to hang out.

Nathan Brooks –
For me, the strongest part of this jacket design is the stand collar. It is simple but distinctive. It has a more understated appearance than some similar designs.
Amelia Foster –
There is a nice balance to the styling of this jacket. The stand collar is a good finishing detail. I appreciate the focus on the smaller design details.
Leo Martin –
The stand collar is what drew my attention to this jacket. It gives the design a distinct look without feeling overdone. The product title and details made the design easy to understand.
Hannah Morgan –
The stand collar gives this jacket its character. The product design feels considered rather than overly busy.
Noah Phillips –
The stand collar makes this jacket stand out for me. I prefer this sort of straightforward styling. The listing explains the style clearly.
